Saudi Arabia opened to tourism in 2019 and now offers e-Visa, visa on arrival (for select nationalities), tourist visa for tourism + Umrah, and the dedicated Umrah visa for pilgrims. Hajj visas follow a separate annual quota process.

Saudi tourist e-Visa

1-year multiple-entry visa, 90 days per visit, total 180 days/year. Tourists can also perform Umrah on this visa. Apply at visa.visitsaudi.com.

Umrah visa

Issued through approved Umrah agents and the Nusuk platform. Women under 45 traditionally needed a Mahram, but this requirement is largely lifted as of 2024 for organised group travel.

Hajj visa

Hajj visas follow country quotas via the Ministry of Hajj. Apply through your country's approved Hajj operator, not as an individual.
