E-visa payments explained — fees, refunds, currencies

4 min read · Vizaezy Editorial

Every e-visa charge is the sum of a government fee and a service fee. Understanding the split protects you from surprise costs and explains exactly what is refundable.

Government fee

Set by the destination immigration authority and paid directly to them. Non-refundable once the application is submitted — regardless of outcome.

Service fee

Charged by the platform processing your application (Vizaezy, VFS, etc.) for verification, submission and support. Vizaezy refunds this in full if the visa is denied.

Currency

Vizaezy bills in USD; your card issuer converts to your local currency at the daily mid-market rate. You'll never see a surprise FX markup from us.
